Radiohead<\/a>\u2018s\u00a0Jonny Greenwood<\/a> has introduced a brand new album with Israeli musician Dudu Tassa.<\/p>\n \u2018Jarak Qaribak\u2019 will come out on June 9 and is being previewed by a primary single titled \u2018Ashufak Shay\u2019.<\/p>\n Discussing the model of the music on the album in a press launch, Tassa \u2013 who has beforehand toured with Radiohead \u2013 mentioned: \u201cWhen people listen to this music, I really love to imagine them thinking\u2026what is this? It sounds 1970s, but there are drum machines, there are guitars but they\u2019re singing in Arabic\u2026what\u2019s going on?\u201d<\/p>\n Greenwood mentioned how the undertaking in comparison with one other previous collaboration with an Israeli singer, Shye Ben Tzur, saying: \u201c\u2018Jarak Qaribak\u2019 presented a similar set of problems, in that you have all these scales which don\u2019t conform to western major\/minor scales, and have notes which involve quarter-tones, and it\u2019s very hard to impose a chord sequence on these melodies. It usually makes them collapse.
