Her bandmates confirmed the information in an official assertion, saying she died of a complication after years of therapy for most cancers. She was 59.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved friend and band member Viv on Tuesday,\u201d the band stated within the assertion. \u201cWe were not expecting this. She was a great friend and a gifted musician and choreographer, but it was being a partner to David and a mother to Nate and Rebecca that gave her the greatest joy. We are devastated beyond words to lose our graceful sister.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Born to classical musicians, Vivian Trimble was raised in France and the U.S. and spoke three languages. She attended Oberlin College and first met bassist\/vocalist Jill Cunniff in 1991 when each have been instructing GED grownup schooling lessons in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Luscious Jackson was fashioned by Cunniff, Trimble and guitarist\/vocalist Gabby Glaser in 1991. They have been joined shortly after their formation by drummer Kate Schellenbach. Trimble appeared on the group\u2019s first two albums, 1994\u2019s <em>Natural Ingredients<\/em> and 1996\u2019s <em>Fever In Fever Out<\/em>\u2014each launched by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.udiscovermusic.com\/artist\/beastie-boys\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>The Beastie Boys<\/strong><\/a> on their label Grand Royal.<\/p>\n<p>The group was a serious different act of the Nineteen Nineties, releasing three albums, enjoying the Lollapalooza and all-female Lilith Fair excursions, guest-hosting MTV\u2019s \u201c120 Minutes\u201d and different highlights of the period. Their most commercially profitable album was <em>Fever in Fever Out<\/em>, which was licensed gold and featured their largest single, \u201cNaked Eye.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trimble departed the band previous to the discharge of 1999\u2019s <em>Electric Honey<\/em>, and whereas Luscious Jackson reunited in 2011, Trimble didn\u2019t return.
