It was hard for us to not gag. But we committed and went full out,\u201d reveals Sophie N\u00e9lisse<\/a>, who performs brainy Shauna. She breaks down all of the wilderness weirdness of episode two on tonight\u2019s The Buzz on Yellowjackets<\/em><\/a>. (To discover out which solid member really did<\/em> lose her lunch, watch the video.)<\/p>\n That Shauna gave permission for the women to eat her greatest good friend was a shock to N\u00e9lisse when she first learn the script. \u201cI never thought Shauna would be the first one or the one giving approval,\u201d the actress confesses. \u201cI was expecting her to be more bullied into it. Since Jackie\u2019s death, she\u2019s had this weight lifted off her shoulders. She\u2019s been trying to hold onto Jackie\u2019s essence and friendship and trying to keep her alive but part of her wants to put an end to the story and wants Jackie to be gone. I think there\u2019s something ceremonial [in] that she\u2019s the one making the decision that we\u2019ll finally put Jackie behind us.\u201d<\/p>\n Making the feeding frenzy scene even trippier was that it was intercut with the women dressed equally to goddesses at an imaginary Roman bacchanal. For these pictures, N\u00e9lisse sat beside her real-life good good friend, Courtney Eaton<\/a>, who performs budding priestess Lottie. \u201cBy the end of the scene, we were completely feral. I was grabbing out of Courtney\u2019s plate, what she had literally ate and spat out. I was so in character. I think I showered twice that night.\u201d<\/p>\n Kailey Schwerman\/SHOWTIME<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Eaton and N\u00e9lisse\u2019s shut off-camera friendship isn\u2019t mirrored of their characters. And it appears like the strain between them might rise. \u201cShauna is the one that\u2019s on the fence the most about the cult, the spiritual situation. She finds Lottie a little creepy. She has this instinct inside of her: don\u2019t trust her.
