But, the group break up up, with every specializing in their particular person careers. Like Moneybagg and Youngsta, G focused on his music and constructed a buzz round his native Memphis. Not the one you all used to see on the microphone, hype man, and this stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-14\">While <em>Speak Up G <\/em>is supposed to introduce him as a severe artist, he nonetheless manages to have enjoyable with it. \u201cYou have your serious moments. You have your moments when you write you\u2019ve got to crack a joke in there, sometimes,\u201d he explains. \u201cYou can\u2019t just be always mad or serious, or you\u2019ve got to play with it. You\u2019ve got to have fun. This is what you do. My children, I cherish them loads, and I need to be the cool dad. I don\u2019t need to be the dad who can\u2019t do it or ain\u2019t obtained to do it or subsequent time. No, no matter we obtained to do, we\u2019re going to do it. But, my son? Every song. He even listens to my features. If I\u2019m featured on a song, he\u2019ll go crazy. The love is real, so I appreciate that more than anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-18\">G\u2019s son goes loopy as a result of his father informed HL that <em>Speak Up G (Deluxe) <\/em>shouldn&#8217;t be the one music he\u2019s releasing this 12 months. \u201cI\u2019m just ready to go and drop [<em>Speak Up G (Deluxe)]<\/em>, move to this project because I\u2019m already working,\u201d he says. \u201cI already started on my next project. I just don\u2019t know the name of it\u2019s going to be. Like, I\u2019ll get this out of the way and go to the next project.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5064805\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5064805\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5064805\" src=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Big-Homiie-G-Authentic-In-Music-embed-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"930\"\/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5064805\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cI wanted to show my kids, to show the real me because I put this on for it\u2019s like a costume.\u201d (M Harris)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-19\">At this level, Big Homiie G is concentrated on the long run. \u201cI\u2019m definitely [thinking] legacy,\u201d he says. \u201cI want a platform, lead my platform. Let them know this is me. This is who G is and the people that come behind. I\u2019ve got a team too. It ain\u2019t all about me. I\u2019ve got people behind me, and I\u2019ve got artists, myself. You know what I\u2019m saying? I want all types of acts and all artists \u2013 I\u2019ll help with artist development and, with my legacy, I\u2019ve got to do it all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-20\">While some lesser artists may crack below stress, Big Homiie G isn\u2019t buckling. \u201cI know what I\u2019m doing, and I know where we\u2019re trying to go with this,\u201d he explains. \u201cAs far as when I say we, \u2018we\u2019 is my label and me, and I know what we\u2019re trying to do. It\u2019s like with other artists \u2014 we\u2019re trying to build a platform and take it all the way to the top. So I know we started from the ground, and I know we\u2019re right here. You know what I\u2019m saying?\u201d G explains. \u201cI never was in front or whatever. I was always trying to stay back. Make sure he was straight. Make sure everybody was straight. And now, it\u2019s like I\u2019m still doing it as I\u2019m making sure myself straight too. But now, I\u2019m putting me first and then everybody. I\u2019m trying to pull everybody up with me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-22\">In a time when it feels just like the world is extra divided than ever, Big Homiie G\u2019s message of unity is a lesson everybody might study. One other thing that the remainder of the world can study from G and from his native Memphis? Be sincere.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-23\">\u201cMemphis artists, we\u2019re authentic \u2013 authentic, authentic.
