Sophie Laplane, First Artist with\u00a0the Scottish Ballet\u00a0was born in France, studied on the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School, and danced with Le Ballet de Lorraine earlier than shifting to Scotland.<\/p>\n

Sophie shares with us her journey from Paris to Glasgow, her favorite roles, and her transfer into choreography that’s being nurtured by the Scottish Ballet.<\/p>\n

The assist Sophie has obtained from the Scottish Ballet has enabled her to create acclaimed items with college students from the\u00a0Royal Conservatoire of Scotland which she\u2019s\u00a0offered as a part of The Royal Ballet\u2019s First Drafts at The Royal Opera House in London.<\/p>\n

At a time when there’s a critically necessary trade broad debate in regards to the challenges dealing with feminine choreographers, it’s inspiring to listen to a narrative of a feminine dancer turned choreographer being supported by her dance firm.<\/p>\n
