He added: \u201cAnd, all that stopped because of telephones. Really everyone goes home and looks at Twitter. It\u2019s so sad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Latching on to Grant\u2019s ideas, Colbert advised: \u201cSo, if there weren\u2019t telephones on set, there\u2019d be more affairs going on?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I think so,\u201d Grant replied. \u201cYou know, [Quentin] Tarantino bans telephones from sets and quite right too, and the people there, they do all shag each other \u2013 or so I\u2019m told.\u201d<\/p>\n
