The demise of a horse<\/a> on the set of Amazon\u2019s\u00a0The Lord of the Rings<\/a>: The Rings of Power<\/em> has prompted animal rights group PETA<\/a> to name for all TV and film productions to cease \u201cexploiting animals for their art.\u201d<\/p>\n

The demise occurred on March 21 because the manufacturing workforce was on the point of shoot a scene for Season 2 of the Lord of the Rings\u00a0<\/em>TV present.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply saddened to confirm that a production horse died,\u201d an Amazon Studios spokesperson stated. \u201cThe incident took place in the morning whilst the horse was being exercised prior to rehearsals.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe trainer was not in costume and filming had yet to commence,\u201d the assertion added. \u201cBoth a veterinarian and a representative of the American Humane Association were present at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The horse was standing with about 20 different horses when it went into cardiac arrest<\/a>, based on The Hollywood Reporter. It had no identified prior well being circumstances.<\/p>\n
