Andrew Lloyd Webber<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>paid tribute to his son\u00a0Nicholas<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in an emotional assertion after his loss of life at 43\u00a0<\/strong>on Saturday, March 35.\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0Phantom of the Opera\u00a0<\/em>composer, 74, honored his son following his passing from gastric most cancers. \u201cI am shattered to have to announce that my beloved elder son Nick died a few hours ago in Basingstoke Hospital,\u201d Andrew stated in a press release to PEOPLE<\/em><\/a> journal on Saturday, March 25. \u201cHis whole family is gathered together and we are all totally bereft. Thank you for all your thoughts during this difficult time,\u201d the 75 12 months previous additionally stated.<\/p>\n

Andrew<\/a> had shared the information that his son was battling most cancers after he missed the previews and opening performances of his model new musical Bad Cinderella\u00a0<\/em>in March. Along with saying that he would miss the performances, he additionally stated that the entire household hoped that Nicholas would get well. \u201cI am absolutely devastated to say that my eldest son Nick is critically ill. As my friends and family know, he has been fighting gastric cancer for the last 18 months and Nick is now hospitalised,\u201d he stated in a press release to BroadwayWorld<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe are all praying that Nick will turn the corner. He is bravely fighting with his indomitable humour, but at the moment my place is with him and the family.\u201d<\/p>\n
