Florence Pugh has launched her first materials as a singer-songwriter.<\/p>\n
Two of her songs, titled \u2018The Best Part\u2019 and \u2018I Hate Myself\u2019, seem on the soundtrack of her new movie,\u00a0A Good Person,\u00a0<\/em>which was launched in cinemas at present (March 24).<\/p>\n Pugh confirmed her music would characteristic on the Zach Braff-directed movie\u2019s soundtrack<\/a> again in January. Between 2013 and 2016, she had uploaded a string of acoustic covers of songs by artists similar to Coldplay<\/a> and The Lumineers<\/a> to YouTube as Flossie Rose. More just lately, she teamed up with Harry Styles<\/a> to sing \u2018With You All The Time\u2019, which featured on the soundtrack to Don\u2019t Worry Darling<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n More just lately, she guested on her brother Toby Sebastian\u2019s new single \u2018Midnight\u2019 earlier this month, and likewise acted within the video.<\/p>\n Pugh defined in an interview that the songs had been written particularly for the movie.\u00a0\u201cI wrote these songs for my character Allison in the movie to perform, but also as a way to process and digest her mindset and her low headspace,\u201d she advised The Guardian<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIt was unbelievably helpful and hard; I wanted a song to reflect the self-hatred she had for herself in a way that the audience can truly understand.\u201d<\/p>\n Check out the songs under:<\/p>\n
