Showtime<\/a> has cancelled The L Word: Generation Q,<\/em> so there gained\u2019t be a fourth season. However, the franchise could proceed with a brand new sequence.<\/p>\n

A drama sequence, The L Word: Generation Q<\/a><\/em> TV present is a sequel to The L Word<\/a><\/em> sequence, which ran on the identical channel from 2004-2009. This incarnation was created by Kathy Greenberg, Michele Abbott, and unique sequence creator Ilene Chaiken.\u00a0 It stars Jennifer Beals, Jordan Hull, Jacqueline Toboni, Rosanny Zayas, Arienne Mandi, Leo Sheng, Sepideh Moafi, Kate Moennig, Jamie Clayton, and Leisha Hailey. Season three friends embrace Kehlani and Fletcher, Margaret Cho, Joanna Cassidy, Joey Lauren Adams, Laurel Holloman, Jillian Mercado, Simon Longnight, Rosie O\u2019Donnell, and Donald Faison. The present iteration follows the intermingled lives of Bette Porter (Beals), Shane McCutcheon (Moennig), Alice Pieszecki (Hailey), Dani N\u00f9\u00f1ez (Mandi), Micah Lee (Sheng), Sarah Finley (Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Zayas), Gigi Ghorbani (Moafi), and Angelica Porter-Kennard (Hull) as they expertise love, heartbreak, setbacks, and success in Los Angeles.<\/em><\/p>\n

The third season of The L Word: Generation Q<\/em><\/a> averaged roughly a 0.01 ranking within the 18-49 demographic and 67,000 viewers. Compared to season two<\/a>, that\u2019s even within the demo and down by 16% in viewership within the dwell+similar day rankings (consists of DVR playback via 3:00 AM).
