In advance of McDermott\u2019s upcoming New York Premiere of<em> Tao of Glass<\/em> at NYU Skirball, they may focus on his work and profession, Improbable\u2019s work with Open Space Technology, and McDermott\u2019s long-term collaborations with Philip Glass.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tao of Glass<\/em> is a storytelling tapestry, carried out by McDermott with a virtuosic ensemble of musicians and puppeteers, underscored by Glass\u2019s mesmerizing music, and shot by means of with Improbable\u2019s trademark magical stagecraft. This New York Premiere marries ten new works from Glass with ten theatrical meditations on life, loss of life, and Taoist knowledge. At NYU Skirball from March 30-April 8, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Phelim McDermott is the Co-Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Improbable.
