Which is strictly what\u00a0Veep\u00a0<\/em>alum\u00a0Julia Louis-Dreyfus<\/strong><\/a>, 62, and singer\u00a0Bruce Springsteen<\/strong><\/a>, 73, obtained on Tues., two years after the digital National Medals of Arts ceremony. The 80-year-old U.S. president honored these two, together with others, with the National Medals of Arts awards for his or her work within the inventive arts. Just a few different A-listers that obtained the distinguished award included designer\u00a0Vera Wang<\/strong><\/a>, 73, actress\u00a0Mindy Kaling<\/strong><\/a>, 43, and singer\u00a0Gladys Knight<\/strong><\/a>, 78.<\/p>\n

Upon introducing Julia to the gang, Biden jokingly referenced her\u00a0Veep <\/em>character, Selena Meyer. \u201cVice President [Kamala] Harris<\/strong><\/a>, Second Gentleman [Douglas Emhoff<\/a>],<\/strong> former president Selina Meyer, welcome to the White House,\u201d he mentioned, per\u00a0Deadline<\/em><\/a>. In addition, POTUS added that the White House is a particular place. \u201cA sacred place for many reasons, it\u2019s the residence of the First Family<\/a>, but it is really the people\u2019s house,\u201d he mentioned.<\/p>\n
