Now that\u00a0Zaya Wade<\/strong><\/a>, 15, has made her Paris Fashion Week debut<\/a>, she graced the duvet of\u00a0Dazed\u00a0<\/em><\/a>journal and opened up about her household\u2019s assist after her authorized gender and title change<\/a> on Mar. 15. The brunette magnificence is the daughter of former NBA star\u00a0Dwyane Wade<\/strong><\/a>, 41, and the stepdaughter of his spouse,\u00a0Gabrielle Union<\/strong><\/a>, 50. \u201cWhen my family surrounds me,\u201d Zaya mentioned of when she feels essentially the most \u201cempowered.\u201d She went on to say, \u201cThey are such a giant support system and have always been there for me. No matter what happens, I feel strongest when I\u2019m with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mannequin, who got here out as transgender<\/a> in 2020 on the age of 12, went on to elucidate how she needs to \u201cfurther\u201d her household\u2019s \u201ceducation\u201d and \u201cappreciation\u201d for the LGBTQ+<\/a> neighborhood. \u201cSo many big changes have happened over the last couple of years with me, but also just in general,\u201d the 15-year-old added.\u00a0\u201cI think it\u2019s not my job, but it\u2019s my honor to continue and further my family\u2019s education and appreciation for the entire LBGTQ+ community<\/a> as we grow together.\u201d<\/p>\n
