GLOUCESTER, MASS.:<\/strong> After an intensive nationwide search, Boston-seasoned director Rebecca Bradshaw has been named the brand new inventive director of Gloucester Stage Company, changing actor\/director Paula Plum, who was serving because the theatre\u2019s interim inventive director<\/a> after Robert Walsh stepped down on the finish of the 2021 season.<\/p>\n Bradshaw will be part of managing director Christopher Griffith, who stated in a press release, \u201cRebecca has been appointed from an exceptionally strong array of candidates. We are incredibly pleased to have Rebecca leading the artistic vision of Gloucester Stage, bringing the experience of an acclaimed directing and producing career. As a leader, I hope to build upon the foundation of GSC\u2019s past while continuing to challenge and inspire audiences to come.\u201d<\/p>\n Bradshaw\u2019s profession in Boston a director, producer, educator, casting director, and advocate consists of helming full productions for the Huntington Theatre Company, Kitchen Theatre Company, Lyric Stage, the Nora Theatre Company, SpeakEasy Stage, Greater Boston Stage Company, A.R.T. Institute, Emerson College, Bridge Rep of Boston, Central Square Theatre\/MIT, Weston Drama Workshop, the Umbrella Center for the Arts, and Fresh Ink Theatre, amongst others. Bradshaw spent eight seasons on the Huntington, the place she dealt with line producing, casting, and growing new work.
