\n In 2012, Vidya Balan starred in Kahaani, as Vidya Bagchi and surprised the viewers together with her marvellous efficiency on this thriller movie. <\/p>\n

The movie was co-written, co-produced and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Featuring themes like feminism and motherhood in a male-dominated Indian society, the movie revolves round a pregnant lady looking for her lacking husband Arnab Bagchi through the well-known Durga Puja in Kolkata. She is assisted by Assistant Sub-Inspector Satyoki “Rana ” Sinha and Inspector General A. Khan.<\/p>\n

Apart from Vidya Balan, the movie additionally stars Parambrata Chatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.<\/p>\n

At the 58th Filmfare Awards, Kahaani was nominated for six of their classes, the place it received 5, together with Best Actress for Vidya and Best Director for Ghosh.<\/p>\n
