After the tragic dying <\/a>of Grayson Arroyo-Smiley<\/a><\/strong>, his mom, Michelle Arroyo<\/a><\/strong>, took to social media to share the reality about her son\u2019s relationship<\/a> with Real Housewives of Orange County<\/strong> <\/a>alum Slade Smiley<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n Michelle <\/strong>unburdened herself after Slade <\/strong>and her fianc\u00e9e, Gretchen Rossi, mourned very publicly after Grayson\u2019s tragic dying. In a press release to People<\/em><\/a>, she mentioned, \u201cenough is enough\u201d with the supposed entrance the RHOC couple has portrayed. Gretchen loves Slade and helped him build a touching tribute to his son and in turn, has been attacked by Grayson\u2019s mother. It\u2019s a very sad situation.\u201d<\/p>\n How did the couple select to publicly mourn Slade\u2019s<\/strong> son? Gretchen<\/strong> posted a tribute <\/a>to a \u201ctrue beacon of light and hope\u201d on social media after his passing. \u201cWe are beyond devastated and heartbroken over the loss of Gray<\/strong>,\u201d she wrote. <\/p>\n Another tribute to Grayson<\/strong> was posted on Valentine\u2019s Day. Michelle<\/strong> responded, \u201cGretchen<\/strong> has posted video after video, including on Valentine\u2019s Day, presenting a flagrantly false image of a loving stepmother to my child when the reality is she has not made the effort to nor seen him in over 10 years, which is why he is 12 years old in every picture she posts.\u201d<\/p>\n Michelle <\/strong>recalled a second when Grayson\u2019s<\/strong> prognosis was essential. She revealed, \u201cSince 2008 he only visited occasionally, but oftentimes being late, canceling last minute or simply not showing up at all with no warning, emotionally crushing Gray<\/strong> countless of times.\u201d She continued, \u201cAs Gray got older, he preferred not to see his father anymore and would express that he would rather avoid the ongoing disappointment and heartache from his unreliability.\u201d<\/p>\n Slade\u2019s <\/strong>parental choices<\/a> earned him eight contempt of court docket orders<\/a> since they started authorized disputes<\/a>. Apparently Slade, \u201cabandoned his custodial visits in 2009 after violating court order after court order, not showing up to pick him up when he was his legal right in time to do so.\u201d Michelle<\/strong> continued, \u201cMy son was a burden to him, so much so that he voluntarily me [sic] to relinquished his legal rights, that no caring father ever would do.\u201d<\/p>\n People <\/em>obtained authorized papers which reveal $152,665.27 is owed in youngster help. Michelle <\/strong>admitted, \u201cthe last payment I received from Slade <\/strong>in child support was in August of 2019 for $36.19.\u201d <\/p>\n A GoFundMe<\/a> was created to help Grayson\u2019s<\/strong> excellent medical payments in addition to a memorial in his honor. It has been extremely hard to see him suffer like that,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Slade<\/strong>, who shares daughter Skylar<\/a><\/strong> with Gretchen<\/strong>, spoke of his \u201cattentive\u201d parenting to Sklyar in comparison with Grayson<\/strong> and <\/strong>Gavin<\/strong> [Smiley<\/strong>]<\/a>. \u201cI had <\/strong>Gavin when I was very young: only 21. To be honest, I think I was so busy trying to get my career started and take care of the family that I\u2019m not sure if I was always as present as I would have liked to have been.\u201d <\/p>\n Slade<\/strong> continued, \u201cThe one thing I\u2019ve done well is making Skylar<\/strong> my priority. I wish I\u2019d been in a better position or more cognizant about giving that same amount of attention to Gavin<\/strong> and Grayson<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSome days, guilt creeps up when I realize that I didn\u2019t have that same focus and clarity while raising my boys. But I hope, ultimately, they know how much I truly do love them and that I did the very best I could under the circumstances at the time,\u201d Slade <\/strong>acknowledged. <\/p>\n Whatever the reality is, Grayson\u2019s <\/strong>dying could be very tragic.
