COSTA MESA, CALIF. and NEW YORK CITY:<\/strong> South Coast Repertory<\/a> and Playwrights Horizons<\/a> have named Branden Jacobs-Jenkins<\/a> the recipient of the inaugural Pinnacle Commission. A MacArthur Foundation<\/a> fellow, Jacobs-Jenkins is a recipient of the Steinberg Playwrights Award, the Windham-Campbell Literature Prize,<\/a> the PEN\/Laura Pels Theater Award,<\/a> the inaugural Tennessee Williams Award from the Sundance Institute,<\/a> and United States Artists<\/a> and Guggenheim<\/a> fellowships, amongst different honors.
