(Photo by Theater J).<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>WASHINGTON, D.C.:<\/strong> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/theaterj.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/theaterj.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Theater J<\/a> has chosen seven playwrights for its <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/theaterj.org\/expandingthecanon\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/theaterj.org\/expandingthecanon\/\" target=\"_blank\">Expanding the Canon<\/a> initiative, introduced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americantheatre.org\/2022\/01\/25\/theater-j-launches-canon-expanding-new-play-program\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"64083\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">earlier this 12 months<\/a>. Playwrights Harley Elias, Zachariah Ezer, Carolivia Herron, Jesse Jae Hoon, M.J.
