Today, that 7\u2033 is out, as is its different half \u201cMaking A Break,\u201d which Mac McCaughan described in a press release as having \u201c<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stereogum.com\/1982696\/album-of-the-week-superchunk-what-a-time-to-be-alive\/reviews\/album-of-the-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What A Time To Be Alive<\/a><\/em> energy.\u201d A number of weeks again, longtime Superchunk drummer Jon Wurster introduced he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stereogum.com\/2213583\/jon-wurster-leaves-superchunk\/news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">leaving the band<\/a>, which signifies that except there are some already-recorded but to be launched tracks within the pipeline, these songs are the final that Wurster will play on.
