Harvey Weinstein<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was sentenced to 16 years\u00a0<\/strong>in jail after being discovered responsible of rape and sexual assault in his Los Angeles trial, per Variety<\/a><\/em>. The disgraced producer, 70, was convicted of two counts of rape and 5 counts of sexual assault by the jury on December 19, 2022. The new sentence is added to the 23-year sentence that he\u2019s presently serving in New York, after being convicted in 2020.<\/p>\n
