Simon and Kareme are completed, no less than on HBO Max<\/a>. South Side<\/em>\u00a0has been cancelled, so there received\u2019t be a fourth season of the comedy collection, no less than on the streaming service.<\/p>\n

Created by Diallo Riddle, Sultan Salahuddin, and Bashir Salahuddin, the South Side<\/a><\/em> TV present stars Sultan Salahuddin, Kareme Young, Quincy Young, Chandra Russell, Bashir Salahuddin, Diallo Riddle, Lil Rel Howery, and Zuri Salahuddin. The story revolves round Simon James (Sultan Salahuddin) and Kareme Odom (Kareme Young), a pair of latest group school graduates and small-time hustlers from the Englewood space of Chicago. The duo is at all times cooking up schemes, from black market Viagra to road nook popcorn, to attempt to get forward. They\u2019re caught working at Rent-T-Own till they’ll get their massive break. <\/p>\n

The comedy premiered<\/a> on Comedy Central<\/a> in July 2019 and was renewed for an additional spherical<\/a> of 10 episodes a month later. However, the collection moved to HBO Max<\/a> for its second season premiere in November 2021. South Side<\/em> was renewed for a 3rd season<\/a> of eight episodes final February. Those installments had been launched in December and HBO Max has now revealed they would be the final.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile HBO Max will not be moving forward with a fourth season of South Side<\/em>, we are so proud of the rich world Bashir Salahuddin, Diallo Riddle, and Sultan Salahuddin created,\u201d mentioned an HBO Max spokesperson. \u201cWe thank them and Michael Blieden, Tony Hernandez, the supremely talented cast and crew, and our partners at MTV Entertainment Studios. For three seasons, this beloved series balanced cutting, hyperlocal social commentary about life on the South Side of Chicago with silly, sometimes zany humor. The result was a wholly unique, ambitious, and fearless comedy that could speak to everyone living the American dream.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the present is finished on HBO Max, Riddle is hoping a brand new residence might be discovered for the collection.<\/p>\n
