The Collection: Slash,\u00a0<\/em>the long-lasting guitarist mentioned his choice to go away a few of his extra risque anecdotes out of its pages, believing that it might result in controversy as a result of a few of their behaviour wouldn’t \u201cfare well\u201d in the present day.\u00a0Slash had beforehand mentioned a number of the band\u2019s extra scandalous moments in his 2007 self-titled memoir.<\/p>\nWhen requested by the interviewer if he\u2019s \u201cthought about\u201d what to incorporate, the musician responded: \u201cI haven\u2019t truly . . . considered it in that context. I imply, I actually, to be trustworthy, I haven\u2019t actually considered all that [scandalous stuff] that a lot lately.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut now that you mention it, most of everything that [Guns N\u2019 Roses] did would\u2019ve gotten us cancelled in this day and age. We would not have fared well in this environment, for sure \u2013 I mean, on so many different levels.\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued: \u201cBut I mean, a lot of things from back then would not be what you consider acceptable at this moment in time. \u2026 I\u2019m just glad that we didn\u2019t have the internet back then! It would\u2019ve been a different world altogether. But anyway, I don\u2019t dwell on all that stuff. It just is what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n
