Producer Joey Parnes has introduced that Bob Fosse\u2019s DANCIN\u2019<\/em> the American showbusiness legend\u2019s landmark musical tribute to the artform that outlined his life, will return to Broadway 41 years after the unique smash-hit manufacturing took its remaining bow. DANCIN\u2019 <\/em>will start previews at The Music Box Theatre on March 2, with opening evening set for March 19.<\/p>\n

The manufacturing will probably be directed by Tony Award winner Wayne Cilento, one of many stars of the unique Broadway manufacturing, and produced in cooperation with Nicole Fosse.<\/p>\n

In addition to Bob Fosse and Cilento, the artistic workforce for the Broadway-bound manufacturing of Bob Fosse\u2019s DANCIN\u2019<\/em> contains scenic design by Robert Brill; costume design by Reid Bartelme and Harriet Jung; lighting design by David Grill; sound design by Peter Hylenski; video design by Finn Ross; orchestrations, music supervision, vocal and incidental music preparations by Jim Abbott; music course by Justin Hornback; new music and dance preparations by David Dabbon; casting by Tara Rubin Casting; manufacturing stage supervisor Beverly Jenkins; replica of Mr. Fosse\u2019s choreography by Christine Colby Jacques; affiliate course\/musical staging and extra choreographic reconstruction by Corinne McFadden Herrera; textual content session and extra materials by Kirsten Childs; and assistant musical staging and extra choreographic reconstruction by Lauren Cannon.<\/p>\n

Bob Fosse\u2019s DANCIN\u2019<\/em> initially opened on Broadway on the Broadhurst Theatre on March 27, 1978, and later transferred to the Ambassador Theatre.
