Michael Irvin<\/strong> has been pulled from NFL<\/strong><\/a> Network\u2019s Super Bowl 2023 protection after a girl on the lodge he was staying at made an still-unspecified grievance about him.<\/p>\n \u201cMichael Irvin will not be part of the NFL Network\u2019s Super Bowl LVII week coverage,\u201d NFL Network spokesman Alex Reithmiller stated in a press release to the New York Post<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n For his half, Irvin relayed his aspect of the story throughout an interview with\u00a0\u201cShan & RJ\u201d on 105.3 the Fan<\/strong><\/a> in Dallas on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n \u201cSunday night \u2026 when I came into the hotel, they asked what I did and I said, \u2018I just went straight to the room,\u2019\u201d Irvin stated. \u201cBut I guess I had met somebody in the lobby. Talked to somebody in the lobby for about a minute and then I went to my room. And then after I got up there, they said they had to move me in the hotel. I said, \u2018Move me in the hotel for what?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n He continued: \u201cso they moved my hotel, and I said, \u2018What\u2019s going on, guys? What\u2019s happening? Why are are we moving hotels?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey said, \u2018Well, last night you walked in, you talked to somebody.\u2019 I said, \u2018I didn\u2019t talk to anybody. I went straight to the room.\u2019 And then they showed it on camera that I did talk to somebody. I talked to this girl for about a minute. I don\u2019t know what \u2014 they didn\u2019t show it to me. They told it to me. I didn\u2019t see it. But that\u2019s why they moved me, because I guess the girl said I said something<\/em> to her within that minute that we talked, and so they moved me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n The NFL nice described the encounter as \u201ca minute meeting somewhere in the (hotel) lobby,\u201d however that he doesn\u2019t \u201ceven remember it really because (he) had a few drinks.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019m kind of hiding to wait and see how everything comes down,\u201d Irvin continued. \u201cIt was a minute meeting somewhere in the lobby. I don\u2019t even remember it really because I had a few drinks, to tell you the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n He doubled down on his innocence within the state of affairs, telling the\u00a0Dallas Morning News<\/a><\/strong> that there was no bodily interplay with the lady past a handshake.<\/p>\n Irvin is an American sports activities commentator and former skilled soccer large receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the\u00a0NFL. In 2007, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n\n
