Korn<\/a> bassist Reginald \u201cFieldy\u201d Arvizu has offered followers with an replace relating to his touring hiatus from the nu steel band.<\/p>\n In mid-2021, Fieldy instructed followers he wouldn’t be showing on Korn\u2019s upcoming tour<\/a>, explaining that for the previous six years, he had been \u201cdealing with some personal issues that at times have caused me to fall back on some of my bad habits and has caused some tension with the people around me\u201d.<\/p>\n He went on to say it had \u201cbeen suggested\u201d that he \u201ctake some time off to heal\u201d, and that he was going to respect that request. \u201cUnfortunately you will not see me on stage with my band,\u201d he added. \u201cI will be working towards getting the bad habits out of my system. In the meantime I will be staying creative to keep my mind & soul in a good place.\u201d<\/p>\n On Friday (October 21), Fieldy shared a video to his Instagram offering some readability on the \u201cbad habits\u201d that he referred to in his assertion final yr. \u201cThings are great. I\u2019m having a blast. I\u2019m the happiest I\u2019ve ever been in my life,\u201d Fieldy says within the video.<\/p>\n \u201cI still am exactly where I was my whole life,\u201d he continued. \u201cSometimes I don\u2019t have any bad habits. Sometimes I have bad habits. But to clarify, when I made the statement about my bad habits, they weren\u2019t drugs. It\u2019s just, at the end of the day, and I don\u2019t condone this, but when I\u2019m done with all my responsibilities, I have a Bud Light or whatever. As many as I want, to tell you the truth. I\u2019m a grown man.\u201d<\/p>\n Fieldy continued: \u201cBut I know I got to get up at five in the morning because I\u2019m responsible and I got a job to do, and I got people that love me, and I got people that depend on me. So, I\u2019m going to be there for them, no matter what.\u201d Later within the video, he added: \u201cTo clarify habits, I\u2019ve never tried cocaine. I\u2019ve never tried heroin. I drink Bud Light, man.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere within the video, the bassist assured followers there was no unhealthy blood between himself and the opposite members of Korn. \u201cWe have no beef. I\u2019ve got no problem with those guys. You guys should support them. They\u2019re ripping right now. They just got off tour. They\u2019re killing it,\u201d he mentioned.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m always going to be Fiedly from Korn, for the rest of my life, because that\u2019s part of my legacy. Those are my homies. Those are my brothers, man. We\u2019re just in different places right now. We\u2019re not even mad at each other. We\u2019re all cool.\u201d<\/p>\n Since Fieldy\u2019s hiatus from Korn, the band have been touring with Suicidal Tendencies\u2019 Ra D\u00edaz.
