But total, the Gorgas current a healthful and united picture<\/a>. <\/p>\n In the spirit of excellent parenting, Melissa<\/strong> mentioned a parenting first that she and Joe<\/strong> encountered just lately when she appeared on Jeff Lewis Live<\/a><\/em>. According to Bravo\u2019s The Daily Dish<\/em><\/a>, Melissa and Joe grounded their daughter <\/strong>Antonia Gorga<\/strong> <\/a>and took away her driving privileges for per week.<\/p>\n Why? It began on a day that Melissa<\/strong> and Joe <\/strong>returned house after work \u201cexhausted.\u201d The mom of three recalled their son Joey Gorga<\/a> made plans to satisfy his mates. Joey advised his dad and mom, \u201cI want to go snowboarding! All my friends are going snowboarding! I\u2019m like, \u2018No, Joey. I\u2019m not getting up,’\u201d Melissa mentioned.\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cJoe\u2019s<\/strong> like, \u2018I\u2019m not getting up.\u2019\u00a0\u2026 And so we look at Antonia<\/strong>, and Joe\u2019s like, \u2018Antonia, get in your car, go take him, he wants to go snowboarding.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDown the street\u201d in the kind of neighborhood the Gorga\u2019s dwell in is clearly an even bigger dedication than I\u2019m used to. Rather than take the drive, Melissa <\/strong>and Joe<\/strong> wished Antonia <\/strong>to take the time for her brother. She refused. <\/p>\n \u00a0\u201c\u2018Absolutely not,\u2019\u201d\u00a0Melissa <\/strong>mentioned Antonia<\/strong> replied. And Antonia\u2019s standoff continued for \u201ca good 20 minutes of her just refusing to drive her brother.\u201d<\/p>\n Finally, Joe<\/strong> made the choice to floor Antonia<\/strong> and take away her automotive keys. Melissa <\/strong>recalled, \u201cShe was like, \u2018He\u2019s not actually gonna do this\u2026\u2019\u00a0[but] he did it, and she hasn\u2019t drove that car this whole week. First time we\u2019ve ever done this to her.\u201d<\/p>\n Lesson discovered. Antonia<\/strong> didn’t drive her Porsche the entire week. And whereas Melissa <\/strong>wished to present in for the sake of comfort, Joe <\/strong>caught to his weapons. <\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s been losing it,\u201d Melissa<\/strong> mentioned of her daugher. \u201cAnd I wanted to give in, I\u2019m not gonna lie.\u201d <\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI already called him yesterday, I\u2019m like, \u2018Joe<\/strong>, I can\u2019t take her. I\u2019m not taking her. I\u2019m not driving her to cheer practice. Give her her keys.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Melissa<\/strong> revealed that her husband \u201cdid not give in.\u201d Clearly, the simpler solution to execute a punishment. The query for these dad and mom is will it work? Melissa puzzled, \u201cSo I am curious to see if she says no to us again.\u201d<\/p>\n Regardless of the effectiveness of Joe\u2019s<\/strong> punishment, Antonia <\/strong>and her Porsche can be off to varsity subsequent 12 months. <\/p>\n Antonia may have a strong lineup of faculties to select from. She has been accepted into the University of Delaware, Penn State University, and the University of Rhode Island to this point. <\/p>\n The future appears to be like shiny for Joe<\/strong> and Melissa<\/strong> as nicely.
