Lewis Capaldi<\/a> has spoken about his upcoming album \u2018Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent<\/a>\u2019, describing it as \u201cthe same\u201d as what\u2019s come earlier than.<\/p>\n

Due for launch May 19, 2023, \u2018Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent\u2019 is the follow-up to Capaldi\u2019s 2019 debut album \u2018Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent\u2019<\/a> and has been teased by new single \u2018Forget Me\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking in regards to the new file in an interview with The Guardian<\/em><\/a>, Capaldi stated: \u201cAll in all, the album\u2019s the same. I like making this music; it\u2019s done all right in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cI don\u2019t have this sort of artistic desire to go off and reinvent myself. Not at all. I feel like the same person, so why would I be searching for something new?\u201d<\/p>\n

Capaldi went on to say how he was \u201cvery conscious about not writing an album about being famous, being successful\u201d as a result of nobody desires to listen to \u201c\u2018Oh, I\u2019m famous and my life\u2019s shit and I\u2019m crying in my big house.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to inflict that on people, especially now, when people are actually going through some real shit: complaining about being famous, \u2018Oh, my fucking Bentley has a flat tyre,\u2019\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
