Turns out Avengers<\/em> star Jeremy Renner<\/a> is a real-life superhero.<\/p>\n

Renner, who was severely injured in a snowplow accident<\/a> on Jan. 1, was reportedly harm when he tried to save lots of his grownup nephew from being crushed by a seven-ton PistenBully snowcat.<\/p>\n

According to a Washoe County Sheriff\u2019s Office report obtained by CNN<\/a>, Renner, 52, was utilizing the snowplow to tug his nephew\u2019s automobile out from heavy snow at his Reno, Nev., residence.<\/p>\n

When the automobile, which runs on a monitor, started \u201csliding sideways,\u201d Renner exited the snowplow with out initiating the parking brake, officers wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe feared the Pistenbully was going to hit (his nephew), so he decided to attempt to stop or divert the Pistenbully,\u201d learn the report launched Friday.<\/p>\n

The automobile\u2019s brake indicator gentle was reportedly damaged.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough the Pistenbully had some mechanical issues, it is believed based on our mechanical inspection that the parking brake would keep the Pistenbully from moving forward,\u201d the report reads.<\/p>\n

As he exited the snowplow, Renner stepped on the transferring monitor and was pulled below the automobile.<\/p>\n

The snowplow rolled fully over Renner and continued down the street.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe laid on the ground and focused on his breathing while (his nephew and others) rendered aid to him until medical personnel arrived on scene,\u201d the report says.<\/p>\n
