A heartwarming second between a Delta<\/strong><\/a> crew member and a nervous passenger has gone viral, with many praising the younger man for going above and past his regular scope of duties.<\/p>\n The airline employee, recognized as Floyd Dean-Shannon<\/strong>, and the tearful passenger have been each on a flight from Charlotte to New York City when the latter started experiencing what sounds to be an anxiousness assault because of a concern\u00a0of flying.<\/p>\n Floyd took a seat within the aisle and held her hand whereas calmly assuaging her nervousness.<\/p>\n \u201cCheck out this gem of a flight attendant that was on our flight from CLT to JFK,\u201d passenger Molly Lee, of Raleigh, North Carolina, wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n \u201cThis woman was so nervous about flying, so he explained every sound and bump and even sat here holding her hand when it still got to be too much for her.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n An image of the second has since gone viral, with almost a half of 1,000,000 views and over 226K likes as of Monday.<\/p>\n \u201cFloyd Dean-Shannon deserves a raise!\u201d Lee mentioned about Floyd\u2019s act of kindness.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Lee went on to inform\u00a0information station WXII-12<\/strong><\/a> that she was flying to JFK International Airport on Jan. 14 when she overheard a lady expressing her concern of flying to different passengers.<\/p>\n That\u2019s when she says Floyd instantly jumped into motion: \u201cI\u2019ve got you,\u201d he was heard saying.<\/p>\n \u201cHe took notice of that and said, \u2018I\u2019ve got you,\u2019 and just was very reassuring, just told her not to worry, it was going to be totally safe and she was tearing up,\u201d she instructed the outlet.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n Lee mentioned Floyd sat and comforted her for about 10 minutes till she started to ease up a bit. She went on to say she \u201chad to take a picture because it was moving.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI had to take a picture because it was moving. It was so beautiful to see somebody just extend their heart like that to a stranger,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n She continued: \u201cWith every little noise, she\u2019d be like, \u2018What\u2019s that?\u2019 He\u2019s like, \u2018That\u2019s OK. That\u2019s just the jet bridge pulling away\u2019 or whatever the case may be. And that really helped her,\u201d in response to\u00a0ABC11<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Lee mentioned that Floyd deserves \u201ceveryone\u2019s praise, admiration\u2026\u201d and that she is \u201cso completely happy he\u2019s getting that recognition.<\/p>\n \u201cI just really hope that Floyd gets what he deserves, which is everyone\u2019s love, everyone\u2019s praise, everyone\u2019s admiration. I\u2019m so happy that he\u2019s getting that recognition.
