Dwayne Johnson and his large ego can\u2019t appear to take the L on Black Adam <\/em>and is once more trying to spin his personal narrative about his future at Warner Bros Discovery and DC.<\/p>\n Johnson appeared on CNBC\u2019s Squawk on the Street<\/em>, and tried to shoot down a latest report from Variety when requested by CNBC host Morgan Brennan that Johnson pitched \u201ca multiyear plan for Black Adam<\/a>\u201d that apparently \u201cruffled feathers internally.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat is simply not true,\u201d Johnson mentioned. \u201cI had a great meeting with David Zaslav, myself and my longtime business partner Dany Garcia. Her and myself went in, we sat with David, and we did not pitch a ten-year plan at all. What our meeting was the future and how can we build across the entire platform of Warner bros. and Discovery.\u201d<\/p>\n Sounds like semantics. The future and and a so referred to as multiyear plan sound very comparable. Johnson went on to speak in regards to the challenges about not partaking \u201cin the sludge of media reporting.\u201d <\/p>\n Johnson added: \u201cYou know, I gotta tell you Morgan and David, one of the hardest things that I\u2019ve had to do \u2013 and it\u2019s one of the greater disciplines that we have to practice when we\u2019re in this position \u2013 is you want to be careful how much you get pulled into the sludge of media reporting.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNow, that\u2019s not an overall criticism. but you do want to be careful about it. So it was very difficult \u2013 wait, let me rephrase that \u2013 it was challenging to exercise that kind of discipline.
