A lawyer representing Baldwin argued in opposition to Carmack-Altwies\u2019 choice to press costs, writing in an announcement to Entertainment Weekly that the cost \u201cdistorts Halyna Hutchins\u2019 tragic death and represents a terrible miscarriage of justice<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun \u2014 or anywhere on the movie set. He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds,\u201d the assertion continues. \u201cWe will fight these charges, and we will win.\u201d<\/p>\n

The lawyer for Hutchins\u2019 husband, Matthew, additionally launched an announcement following the announcement of the fees.<\/p>\n
