Night Court<\/em><\/a> returned to NBC<\/a> on Tuesday (January 17) night time, over 30 years for the reason that unique collection ended its nine-season run, and one former forged member was celebrating the event.<\/p>\n Marsha Warfield<\/a>, who performed bailiff Rosalind \u201cRoz\u201d Russell within the sitcom\u2019s unique run, took to TikTok to share her help for the revival, which sees John Larroquette<\/a> reprising his position as Dan Fielding, the previous assistant district lawyer who now serves as a public defender in Abby\u2019s (Melissa Rauch<\/a>) court docket.<\/p>\n \u201cI hear there\u2019s a new Night Court<\/em> in town! It\u2019s not the same w\/o you!\u201d tweeted one viewer<\/a>, whereas one other added<\/a>, \u201cI hope they have you on in the future, as a mentor to Abby Stone.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking on the TCA Winter Press Tour this week, Night Court<\/em> revival government producer Dan Rubin hinted at the potential for returning OGs in future episodes. However, he was cautious about how you can strategy this with out taking away from the brand new characters.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a challenge to keep this show it\u2019s own thing and have it stand on its own two feet,\u201d he mentioned (through TVLine<\/em><\/a>). \u201cSo, anytime we bring people back, we always want it to help the story and help tell the story in the current Night Court<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n But he went on to say that the \u201cbeauty of this series\u201d is that \u201canyone can walk through those doors at any moment, so I would just say, \u2018stay tuned,\u2019 and maybe some old friends will show up.\u201d<\/p>\n Night Court<\/em>, Tuesdays, 8\/7c, NBC<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n
