Jinger Duggar Vuolo<\/strong><\/a> is just not holding again in the case of reflecting on rising up in a fundamentalist Christian dwelling, which she has drastically separated herself from through the years. The former Counting On<\/em> <\/a>star, 29, admitted she believes that her strict upbringing below her dad and mom Jim Bob<\/strong><\/a> and Michelle Duggar<\/a> <\/strong>was \u201charmful\u201d in an interview with PEOPLE<\/em><\/a> printed on Wednesday, Jan. 18. \u201cFear was a huge part of my childhood. I thought I had to wear only skirts and dresses to please God,\u201d she additional defined. \u201cMusic with drums, places I went or the wrong friendships could all bring harm.\u201d<\/p>\n

She was so terrified of straining her relationship with God that she recalled being \u201cterrified\u201d when she and her a number of siblings went to play a household sport known as broomball. \u201cI thought I could be killed in a car accident on the way, because I didn\u2019t know if God wanted me to stay home and read my Bible instead,\u201d she added.\u00a0 She made the revelations whereas selling her new memoir known as Becoming Free Indeed<\/em>, which particulars her private journey of discovering herself, balancing her religion, and breaking down the partitions and worries she had on account of her non secular upbringing.<\/p>\n

She and her 18 different siblings had been taught below the Institute in Basic Life Principles, a company established by minister Bill Gothard<\/strong>, who left the church in 2014 after he was accused of greater than two dozen counts of sexual assault.
