His play\u00a0The Quiet House\u00a0<\/em>was carried out at Birmingham Rep and Park Theatre and was directed by\u00a0Tessa Walker<\/strong>.\u00a0Biscuits for Breakfast\u00a0<\/em>is\u00a0Tessa Walker\u2019s second collaboration with Gareth Farr, and she or he returns to Hampstead Theatre following her productions of\u00a0Ravenscourt, Big Big Sky\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0The Glad Game.<\/em><\/p>\nStumped<\/em>

Before Samuel Beckett\u00a0turned\u00a0the\u00a0playwright\u00a0universally\u00a0recognized for\u00a0Waiting for Godot<\/em>, he was a cricketer. He continues to be the one Nobel prize-winner to characteristic within the pages of Wisden as a first-class\u00a0participant. His good friend and fellow Nobel prize-winner, Harold Pinter,\u00a0whose best-known works embrace\u00a0The Birthday Party<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Betrayal<\/em>, described cricket as \u2018the greatest thing that God created on earth\u2019.<\/wbr><\/p>\nStumped<\/em>\u00a0is a brilliantly\u00a0witty new play by Shomit Dutta which explores what the friendship between these two\u00a0playwrights could have regarded like.<\/p>\nShomit Dutta is a author, translator and trainer of Latin and Greek\u00a0who additionally\u00a0evaluations books on cricket and the classics. He has been a member of Harold Pinter\u2019s cricket group Gaieties CC for over twenty years and was captain throughout Pinter\u2019s closing years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
