PAUL, LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK CITY:<\/strong> The 5 theatres that comprise the Generation Now partnership\u2014<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latinotheaterco.org\" target=\"_blank\">Latino Theater Company,<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/ma-yitheatre.org\" target=\"_blank\">Ma-Yi Theater Company,<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/theautry.org\/native-voices-at-the-autry\" target=\"_blank\">Native Voices on the Autry,<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/penumbratheatre.org\" target=\"_blank\">Penumbra Theatre,<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/childrenstheatre.org\" target=\"_blank\">Children\u2019s Theatre Company<\/a>\u2014have awarded their first spherical of commissions to 4 tasks. These embrace <em>One Small Alice <\/em>by Ifa Bayeza; <em>Drawing Lessons <\/em>by Michi Barall; <em>Comanche Girl on the Moon <\/em>by Dustin Tahmahkera; and a piece exploring the world of folkl\u00f3rico dance by the Latino Theater Company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to partner with these leaders and their extraordinary organizations to develop new ways of creating works for multigenerational audiences,\u201d Peter Brosius, inventive director of Children\u2019s Theatre Company, mentioned in an announcement. \u201cWe are eager to work together to support these remarkable artists in their journey to bring new stories, new perspectives, and new aesthetics to the field.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Generation Now brings collectively 5 theatres throughout the nation to fee and develop new works for multigenerational audiences by each established and rising BIPOC artists.
