Classical Vauxhall<\/strong> is delighted to announce the fourth version of the acclaimed classical music pageant within the coronary heart of London\u2019s most numerous and electrical neighbourhoods. Running from March 2nd to fifth we welcome Nicky Spence and Sholto Kynoch, Rakhi Singh, The Julian Bliss Septet, Tamsin Waley-Cohen, Clifton Harrison<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Jamal Aliyev.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Opening on Thursday, March 2nd,\u00a0<\/sup>with\u00a0<\/strong>English violinist\u00a0Tamsin Waley-Cohen<\/strong>, American violist\u00a0Clifton Harrison<\/strong>, Turkish cellist\u00a0Jamal Aliyev<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Fiachra Garvey<\/strong> for\u00a0Comfort in Chaos.<\/em>\u00a0This live performance celebrates the mighty piano quartet with items that discover the environment from Beethoven, Mahler, Fung, and Brahms.<\/p>\n

On Friday, March third,\u00a0Nicky Spence<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Sholto Kynoch<\/strong> current Songs of The Seasons<\/em>. The programme options Benjamin Britten\u2019s Holy Sonnets of John Donne<\/em> and culminates in a celebration of blues, jazz, and African American custom in Bond\u2019s rhapsodic Songs of The Seasons<\/em>. BBC Musician Magazine Personality of the Year 2022, Opera Singer Nicky is certainly one of Scotland\u2019s proudest sons, and Sholto is a sought-after pianist who specialises in music and chamber music. He is the founder and Artistic Director of the Oxford Lieder Festival.<\/p>\n

The first of our live shows on Saturday, March 4th, options violinist, collaborator, composer & music director Rakhi Singh.\u00a0<\/strong>Rakhi is a number one gentle within the modern music scene within the UK. A co-founder of the heralded Manchester Collective, her musical decisions are impressed by many alternative traditions and cultures. Her daytime programme, Elemental<\/em>, <\/strong>spans from the Baroque to the current day, opening with the right treatment to clear one\u2019s head within the delicate sound world of Sciarrino\u2019s Caprice No.2 and shutting with solo violin, J.S. Bach\u2019s Chaconne In D Minor.<\/p>\n

The Julian Bliss Septet<\/strong> will shut the three live shows with their\u00a0The Sound of Film\u2013Jazz in Hollywood <\/em>programme. Their dazzling virtuosity, extraordinary musicianship and charming humour shine via their swing, Latin, American and jazz music programmes. Starting with the silent movie and the early \u2018talkies\u2019 in The Great Depression years, the Septet additionally performs music from wartime films, musicals and even the basic Disney blockbusters.<\/p>\n

Sunday fifth March is Overture Day <\/em>that includes schooling classes in partnership with London Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Returning to St Mark\u2019s, Kennington Classical Vauxhall is led by\u00a0Fiachra Garvey<\/strong>, Irish pianist and Artistic Director of the West Wicklow Festival. He stated, \u2018this year\u2019s pageant is a veritable feast of classical music\u2019s selection and musical variety. Four live shows with color and humour, that includes a number of the most vibrant and energetic artists maintaining classical music contemporary, alive and related!<\/em>\u2018<\/p>\n
