Speaking about what the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/tag\/netflix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Netflix<\/a> sci-fi hit means to her, in addition to her feeling across the present\u2019s finish, Sink stated it was going to \u201chorrible\u201d to say goodbye to <em>Stranger Things<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know that it\u2019s happening and that it\u2019s the last season, so it\u2019s going to be emotional I\u2019m sure,\u201d Sink advised the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/video\/sadie-sink-talks-the-whale-playing-annie-on-broadway-159257157625\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Today<\/em><\/a> present. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be awful. It\u2019s going to be horrible. These kids, this entire cast and crew, it\u2019s family. People say that all the time, but I genuinely mean it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/today\/embedded-video\/mmvo159257157625\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cTo think that we have to say goodbye to that security and knowing that we\u2019re going to be seeing each other for another season? It\u2019s scary and sad, but I think it\u2019s exciting to kind of move on to the next chapter, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans of the present final noticed Sink\u2019s character Max being saved by Eleven from a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/tv\/stranger-things-season-five-ending-was-supposed-to-happen-in-season-two-3356957\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">horrible destiny by the hands of Vecna<\/a>. But regardless of figuring out that her character has lived to see one other season, Sink has no concept what is going to occur subsequent.<\/p>\n<p>Asked about hints as to what season 5 may maintain, the actor stated: \u201cSpoiler-free, just with the way my character ended in season four, I have no idea what is going to happen. But, I\u2019ll be there [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Stranger Things<\/em> season 4 had initially been billed because the present\u2019s closing outing. However, in February 2022, creators Matt and Ross Duffer introduced in a letter that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/features\/stranger-things-season-5-cast-release-date-plot-trailer-images-3261405\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fifth season of <em>Stranger Things<\/em><\/a> wouldn&#8217;t solely air however would even be the present\u2019s absolute final run.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things,\u201d the Duffer Brothers wrote. \u201cAt the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but \u2013 as you\u2019ll soon see for yourselves \u2013 we are now hurtling toward our finale.
