The style world suffered an enormous loss with the demise of Vivienne Westwood <\/strong><\/a>on Thursday, Dec. 28 and the glitterati had been fast to pay tribute to the icon. The 81-year-old British pioneer, whose eccentric designs and magnificence catapulted her to fame within the 70s, handed away \u201cpeacefully and surrounded by family and friends\u201d in London, her crew stated on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cVivienne continued to do the things she loved, up until the last moment, designing, working on her art, writing her book, and changing the world for the better,\u201d the assertion continued. \u201cShe led an amazing life.\u201d<\/p>\n
