This is the story of ladies in America.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, Randi Trew \u2014 Chris Beard\u2019s fianc\u00e9e \u2014 alleged that Beard bit and strangled her<\/a><\/span>. \u201cHe just snapped on me and became super violent,\u201d learn the affidavit<\/a><\/span>. \u201cHe choked me, threw me off the bed, bit me, bruises all over my leg, throwing me around, and going nuts.\u201d Weeks later she was singing a special tune.<\/p>\n \u201cChris and I are deeply saddened that we have brought negative attention upon our family, friends, and the University of Texas, among others. I realize that my frustration, when breaking his glasses, initiated a physical struggle between Chris and myself,\u201d she shared within the assertion<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n \u201cChris did not strangle me, and I told that to law enforcement that evening. Chris has stated that he was acting in self-defense, and I do not refute that. I do not believe Chris was trying to intentionally harm me in any way. It was never my intent to have him arrested or prosecuted. We appreciate everyone\u2019s support and prayers during this difficult time,\u201d she defined.<\/p>\n
