I\u2019m just processing the incident.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n She added:<\/p>\n \u201cThis woman was relentless and determined I am not British. I was thinking, \u2018What can I do here now?\u2019 Nothing. \u2018Who can I tell?\u2019 No one.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Though she was effective naming the perpetrator, Ngozi says she isn\u2019t proud of the choice to drive her to resign. She explains:<\/p>\n \u201cMy nature is not that somebody of senior years should be vilified even though she did it to herself. I don\u2019t want to be part of that. I\u2019m old school. This is an elder and that\u2019s not an excuse, but I\u2019m thinking why don\u2019t we just do something different such as pull her up, re-educate, demote her, keep her from public-facing roles? Having been in this position for decades, it\u2019s horrible that she goes out like this because of ignorance and racism.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The charity organizer says she doesn\u2019t assume firing a single individual fixes something anyway:<\/p>\n \u201cThis is bigger than one individual. When I drove into the palace, the car was searched and we were searched, as you would expect, because they have to protect the household. But what protects us, Black people, from that treatment? This incident is unfortunate and shows that nothing has changed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Just like many mentioned after\u00a0Prince Harry<\/strong> and\u00a0Meghan Markle<\/strong> revealed their very own expertise with\u00a0racism over their unborn mixed-race little one<\/a>.
