Louis Tomlinson<\/a> has admitted that he\u2019s been jealous of Harry Styles\u2019<\/a> profitable solo profession.<\/p>\n The soloist, who releases his second album \u2018Faith In The Future<\/a>\u2018 this Friday (November 11), said in a new interview that he initially felt green-eyed about Styles\u2019 successes as an artist and a burgeoning actor.<\/p>\n Tomlinson, who was previously within the five-piece boy band One Direction<\/a> with Styles, mirrored on the early days of the group\u2019s break up in 2015.<\/p>\n He instructed The Telegraph<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in reference to Styles\u2019 profession: \u201cI\u2019d be mendacity if I stated it didn\u2019t trouble me at first.<\/p>\n \u201cOnly \u2018cos I didn\u2019t know where to place myself, and really my only point of reference was other members of the band. But it\u2019s not surprising to me that Harry\u2019s the most commercially successful because he really fits the mould of a modern star.\u201d<\/p>\n Styles has gone on to launch three Number One albums \u2013 \u2018Harry Styles<\/a>\u2018 (2017), \u2018Fine Line<\/a>\u2018 (2019) and \u2018Harry\u2019s House<\/a>\u2018 (2022) \u2013 and in September continued to break records on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with \u2018As It Was\u2019 reaching its fifteenth week at Number One<\/a>.<\/p>\n With that milestone, Styles grew to become the longest-reigning British artist to high the US chart with a single monitor, usurping Elton John<\/a>\u2018s 1997 hit \u2018Candle In The Wind\u2019 (which spent 14 weeks at Number One).<\/p>\n Tomlinson, whose debut album \u2018Walls<\/a>\u2018 went to Number Four in the UK charts, added about Styles: \u201cHe\u2019s not simply doing music, he\u2019s bought movie as nicely, and the tour he\u2019s finished is unbelievable.
