CHICAGO: <\/strong>Raven Theatre<\/a> has named Sarah Slight to be their interim inventive director because the theatre searches for a substitute for inventive director Cody Estle, who introduced his departure final month<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI am thrilled to serve Raven Theatre as interim artistic director,\u201d mentioned Slight in a press release. \u201cThank you to Cody Estle for all he has done for Raven over the last decade. I am truly honored the board of directors have put their trust in me to continue the theatre\u2019s great work while they look toward the future.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe are very pleased that Sarah is available and willing to step in as our interim artistic director,\u201d mentioned Raven board president Stephen Johnson in a press release.\u00a0\u201cShe brings solid theatrical experience to the role.\u00a0Her presence will ensure continuing high-quality productions for our patrons and a supportive environment for the artists whose work is essential to these productions.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Slight\u00a0is a Chicago-based dramaturg, literary supervisor, and producer. Prior to working with Raven Theatre, she served because the affiliate inventive director at American Theater Company, inventive packages supervisor at Northlight Theatre<\/a>, literary affiliate at Williamstown Theatre Festival<\/a>, and literary supervisor at Red Eye Theatre.<\/a> Credits embody\u00a0The Luckiest<\/em> (Raven Theatre), The Gradient<\/em>\u00a0(St. Louis Rep), The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley<\/em>\u00a0(Northlight Theatre), and several other extra.<\/p>\n Alongside Jess McLeod, Slight is the co-adapter of a condensed model of\u00a0The Project(s)<\/a><\/em>\u00a0by PJ Paparelli and Joshua Jaeger, which toured\u00a0by Chicago Public Schools and housing conferences in 2017. Slight holds an MFA from Columbia University and a B.S. from the University of Evansville.\u00a0<\/p>\n Raven Theatre\u2019s mission is to inform the tales of right this moment and the previous\u00a0<\/em>that join us to our cultural panorama.
