Just when we thought we\u2019d escaped Forks, Washington without a relapse, the\u00a0Twilight<\/em>\u00a0saga is pulling us back in!<\/p>\n

The official\u00a0Twilight Instagram account<\/strong>\u00a0just posted a cryptic message that has fans buzzing louder than a mind-reading vampire. The post hinted that something is brewing between\u00a0Lionsgate<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Fathom Events<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So, does this mean we’re getting a new\u00a0Twilight<\/em>\u00a0movie in 2025? Will we see more of Bella, Edward, and Jacob? Let’s break it down (and no, you don’t have to close your eyes).<\/p>\n

Is There Really a New Twilight Movie?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In short: no. Well, not a\u00a0new<\/em>\u00a0one with new stories, at least.<\/p>\n

As of now,\u00a0Lionsgate<\/strong>\u00a0has not announced a brand-new\u00a0Twilight<\/em>\u00a0film. There\u00a0was<\/em>\u00a0talk of an animated\u00a0Twilight<\/em>\u00a0series in the works at\u00a0Netflix<\/strong>\u00a0last year, but that\u2019s a different story.<\/p>\n

So what\u2019s all the fuss about?<\/p>\n

What Does \u201cForever Begins Again\u201d Mean?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Instagram post that started it all showed a picture of Bella, Edward, and Jacob with the message,\u00a0\u201cForever Begins Again.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Bella\u2019s eyes were golden\u2014her vampire eyes\u2014which definitely got people talking.<\/p>\n

The post also included the phrase:\u00a0\u201cThis October.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

After all the speculation, it was revealed that this is actually a promotion for a special\u00a0theatrical re-release<\/strong>\u00a0of all the\u00a0Twilight<\/em>\u00a0movies this fall! So get ready to head back to the theater for a major dose of nostalgia.<\/p>\n

Would the Original Cast Even Come Back?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Probably not. It\u2019s been over a decade since\u00a0*Breaking Dawn – Part 2*, and the main cast has clearly moved on.<\/p>\n

Since vampires don’t age, a sequel would likely need a whole new cast anyway.<\/p>\n

Taylor Lautner<\/strong>\u00a0(who played Jacob Black) actually spoke with\u00a0Hollywood Life<\/strong>\u00a0back in July 2024 about finding balance after his early fame. While he didn\u2019t mention\u00a0Twilight<\/em>\u00a0by name, he talked about learning to handle the spotlight.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a balance for me, but I would say I used to be way more closed off in private than I am today,\u201d Taylor said. \u201cI just think when things happened at a young age that it was just kind of a scary thing having so much privacy taken away\u2026 And for me in the last few years, I think I\u2019ve found a healthier balance.\u201d<\/p>\n

So for now, it looks like we\u2019ll just have to enjoy the original movies all over again on the big screen. And honestly? We’re not even mad about it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
