Reading Time: <\/span> 4<\/span> minutes<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s secure to say we didn’t see the next coming.<\/p>\n On August 8, Collin Gosselin uploaded a heartfelt and shocking message to his seven brothers and sisters \u2014 together with those he reportedly hasn\u2019t spoken to in YEARS.<\/p>\n \u201cBorn to be a team, us against the world,\u201d Collin \u2014 brother to Alexis, Aeden, Hannah, Leah and Joel, in addition to 24-year-old twins Mady and Cara \u2014 wrote over an previous household picture shared to TikTok. <\/p>\n The submit then switches to a snapshot (above) of Collin Gosselin driving alone in his automotive. <\/p>\n The textual content beneath the second picture says, \u201cForced to do it alone, and wonder everyday what our lives could\u2019ve looked like.\u201d<\/p>\n The 21-year added Adele\u2019s ballad \u201cHometown Glory\u201d to the submit and wrote within the accompanying caption: <\/p>\n \u201cForced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids?\u201d<\/p>\n The former actuality tv star continued as follows:<\/p>\n \u201cI will always love them more than anything. The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could\u2019ve shared. I love you guys.\u201d<\/p>\n There is A LOT behind this message.<\/p>\n In 2016, mom Kate Gosselin despatched her son to a program for what she stated had been his \u201cspecial needs,\u201d telling People Magazine again then: <\/p>\n \u201c(There\u2019s) a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we\u2019ve had for a very long time, and it\u2019s one I\u2019ve dealt with on my own.\u201d<\/p>\n Collin ultimately penned a letter to his dad Jon, who ultimately managed to get Collin out of this program.<\/p>\n Over the previous a number of years, Collin and sister Hannah have lived with Jon whereas the remainder of their siblings have lived with their mother \u2014 and there\u2019s been subsequent to no contact between any of them.<\/p>\n Last 12 months, in the meantime, Collin leveled VERY critical allegations towards Kate Gosselin<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a very, very emotionally abusive relationship,\u201d Collin informed The U.S. Sun in a video interview in 2024. <\/p>\n \u201cMy mom had a room inbuilt our unfinished part of the storage basement. She had a room put up with cameras in it, a tiny window within the nook and it was bolt-locked from the surface. It was like a containment room, and it had a mattress on the ground and that\u2019s how I lived\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cWhen my mother would put me in that room multiple times, she had zip-tied my hands and feet together and bolt-locked the door, turned the lights off and had cameras there just watching me.\u201d<\/p>\n Previously, in 2022, a tear-soaked Collin informed TODAY: \u201cI have not spoken to my siblings in probably five or six years now. It\u2019s tough.\u201d<\/p>\n For her half, Kate has denied most of Collin\u2019s allegations, citing his wayward habits any time the subject has been raised.<\/p>\n \u201cUnfortunately, I believe Collin remains a very troubled young man who continues to need a lot of help,\u201d Kate wrote in July 2023<\/a>. \u201cHis brothers and sisters and I have not been directly involved in his life due to his history of unpredictable behavior and violent tendencies toward us.\u201d<\/p>\n Added Kate again then of Collin and her ex-husband:<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve kept quiet for a LONG time but I\u2019m tired of Collin and Jon controlling what has become my narrative\u2014 and it\u2019s ALL false.
