We\u2019re now 175 days from the return of Knives Out on our screens, with the return of Daniel Craig because the well-known detective Benoit Blanc, who will function alongside a surprising ensemble solid. Dribs and drabs have been slowly launched in regards to the new film, and now we all know its official runtime!<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a reminder on the runtimes of the prior films:<\/p>\n

  • Knives Out (2019) <\/strong>\u2013 2 hours 10 minutes (130 minutes)<\/li>\n
  • Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022)<\/strong> \u2013 2 hours 19 minutes (139 minutes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Now, we are able to reveal that the third film could have a runtime of two hours and 24 minutes (144 minutes)<\/strong> in complete. That\u2019s an 11% improve in time from the primary film and practically 4% on the second.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    The information of the film\u2019s runtime follows an extra first look teaser launched via Netflix\u2019s TUDUM, which confirmed the movie\u2019s launch date and included just a few extra frames from the upcoming film.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    At TUDUM 2025, Rian Johnson launched Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery<\/em>\u00a0in a skit sequence, which host Sofia Carson kicked off<\/span>. \u201cThe thing we try to do, what we strive for with them, is to keep the audience guessing. It\u2019s really important to figure out new ways, every time, so that just when you think you\u2019ve figured it out, a new twist comes along you weren\u2019t expecting. And that\u2019s what makes these movies special.\u201d<\/p>\n

    \u201cThat\u2019s where you\u2019re wrong.\u201d Josh Brolin interjected, adopted by a number of extra twists with different solid members from the ensemble popping up.
