Runnner, the musical undertaking of LA-based singer-songwriter Noah Weinman, will launch new album Like Dying Stars, We\u2019re Reaching Out<\/em> in February. Lead single \u201ci only sing about food<\/a>\u201d introduced a smooth and propulsive tackle indie folks, with Weinman\u2019s voice gleaming amidst clattering drums, chiming banjo, and a blustery wall of sound that evoked a busy metropolis.<\/p>\n New single \u201cbike again\u201d is equally interesting, and it suggests Weinman grew up on a gentle weight loss plan of acts like Bon Iver, Jos\u00e9 Gonz\u00e1lez, and Loney Dear. Against the regular strum of his guitar and the soothing hum of a keyboard, tiny keyboard and banjo plinks dot the combination as Weinman sings, \u201cFell off my bike again\/ It\u2019s so embarrassing how much I want to call you now.\u201d In a press launch, he writes, \u201cThis is a song about falling off my bike, remembering all the other times I\u2019ve fallen off my bike, and then wondering what I would say if I could talk to all of those past selves.
