\n\tJane Bright<\/a>, the Survivor: Nicaragua<\/a><\/em> contestant, has died. She was 71.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Season 21 Fan Favorite\u2019s daughter Ashley Hammett introduced her mom\u2019s dying in a Facebook publish on Thursday after her physique was found earlier that day in her North Carolina house.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cToday Jane Hammett Bright was found passed away within her home by a good friend and county sheriff,\u201d wrote Hammett within the publish<\/a>. A reason behind dying was not disclosed.<\/p>\n

\n\tBorn Dec. 13, 1953 in Jackson Springs, N.C., Bright was a 56-year previous canine coach when she appeared on the CBS competitors sequence in 2010. Separating the castaways into two tribes primarily based on age, she began off within the older Espada tribe.<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite being the oldest contestant of the season, Bright pulled her personal weight, praised for her energy and contributions to the tribe. After being the thirteenth castaway voted off, she gained the audience-voted Sprint Fan Favorite, together with a $100,000 prize.<\/p>\n

\n\tBright was remembered by followers and fellow Survivor<\/em> solid members, together with Survivor: Ghost Island<\/em>\u2018s Donathan Hurley, who remembered her as \u201ca firecracker.\u201d<\/p>\n
