Four former housekeepers who had been employed by the Motown legend at the moment are accusing him of sexual assault.<\/p>\n

Attorney for alleged victims speaks out towards Smokey Robinson<\/h2>\n

The swimsuit was filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.<\/p>\n

According to a brand new report from NBC News<\/a>, three of the 4 girls appeared at a press convention, sporting masks to guard their privateness.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, no amount can compensate these women for what Mr. Robinson subjected them to,\u201d lawyer John Harris advised reporters.<\/p>\n

He added that given the severity of Robinson\u2019s alleged crimes, \u201cThis amount is clearly warranted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harris defined that the 4 accusers \u201cwere Hispanic women employed as housekeepers earning below minimum wage.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cAs low-wage workers in vulnerable positions, they lacked the resources and options to protect themselves,\u201d he defined.<\/p>\n

Accusers describe horrific assaults, concern of talking out<\/h2>\n

One plaintiff alleges that Robinson assaulted her at the least 23 instances between May 2014 and February 2020.<\/p>\n

The accuser claims the assaults typically came about in components of Robinson\u2019s house the place there have been no safety cameras.<\/p>\n

Another former worker claims that Robinson assaulted her at the least 20 instances through the 12 years she labored for him, starting in 2012.<\/p>\n

She describes a \u201critual\u201d whereby Robinson would enter his bed room bare after which unfold a towel on his mattress so the linens wouldn’t be dirty by \u201cwhat was about to occur.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another accuser says she labored for Robinson for 13 months, throughout which era, he allegedly assaulted her seven instances<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a desperate attempt to stop his sexual assaults,\u201d the swimsuit says of this plaintiff, \u201cshe would proclaim \u2018you\u2019re married.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
