\n\tOn this week\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Daily Show<\/a>,\u201d Jon Stewart<\/a> slammed Democrats for calling Donald Trump<\/a> \u201cun-American\u201d and \u201cauthoritarian\u201d for signing a flurry of govt orders throughout his first week in workplace when in actuality he’s working inside his constitutional rights as president.<\/p>\n \n\tStewart opened the section with a compilation of stories retailers ringing the alarm on a Friday night time \u201cpurge\u201d executed by Trump.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAh! Trump has ushered in the purge,\u201d Stewart yelled, pulling out a foam axe from underneath his desk. \u201cAlthough, just in case I\u2019m misinterpreting, what is this purge about, exactly?\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAnother information compilation then performed, clarifying that Trump had fired not less than 17 \u201cgovernment agency watchdogs\u201d often known as \u201cinspectors general\u201d on Jan. 24.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cNo! He got rid of 17 inspectors general? That only leaves\u2026 No one knows how many left,\u201d Stewart joked. \u201cWho knows how many generals will now go uninspected? Democrats, inspire my anger, in the least charismatic way possible!\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tStewart then ran a clip of Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer labeling Trump\u2019s elimination of the \u201cinspectors general\u201d a \u201cglaring sign\u201d {that a} \u201cgolden age for abuse in government and even corruption\u201d is upon us. However, \u201cThe Daily Show\u201d host was fast to level out that Trump has the authorized proper to take away any such authorities agent at any time. The solely factor Trump didn’t do was present 30 days\u2019 discover and a complete checklist of explanation why.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019m sorry, what? Like last week\u2019s pardons.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tClips performed of liberal pundits attacking Trump\u2019s pardons as \u201cunconstitutional,\u201d \u201cauthoritarian\u201d and \u201cun-American.\u201d Once once more, Stewart famous that it’s a president\u2019s constitutional proper to grant pardons.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cFor some reason, we have given presidents the power of a king, and then we say, \u2018Well, you\u2019re not going to get all kingly and shit on us, right?\u2019 To put that in constitutional terms, if I could, don\u2019t hate the player, hate the founding fathers,\u201d Stewart mentioned. \u201cBecause I don\u2019t know if you\u2019ve met Donald Trump, he pushes shit.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tStewart closed the section with a name to motion for Democratic leaders: \u201cThe question is probably not, \u2018How dare he?\u2019 The question should be, \u2018What are you learning from this? How would you use this power? What is your contract with America?\u2019 Democrats, exist outside of him. Tell people what you would do with the power that Trump is wielding, and then convince us to give that power to you as soon as possible!
