Shari Franke<\/a>, the eldest daughter of disgraced mommy blogger and convicted baby abuser Ruby Franke<\/a>, is opening up concerning the baby abuse<\/a> she suffered by the hands of her mom.<\/p>\n

Shari Franke\u2019s memoir, The House of My Mother: A Daughter\u2019s Quest for Freedom<\/em>, was launched Tuesday by Simon & Schuster, revealing extra concerning the horrific abuse<\/a> she suffered from what she describes as a \u201cmalignant narcissist.\u201d<\/p>\n

As she does the press rounds for her e-book, Shari has shared whether or not she may ever forgive her mother<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cForgiveness is something I\u2019ve had to study a lot and kind of think about what it means,\u201d she instructed Good Morning America<\/em> (GMA<\/em>) earlier this week. \u201cBut for me, forgiveness would look like not letting that consume every moment of my life<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

On GMA<\/em>, Shari mentioned she was subjected to abuse beginning across the age of 5 or 6, when her mom would sometimes slap her or slam her hand down on a floor.<\/p>\n

She mentioned the abuse escalated as soon as her mom met Hildebrandt, a former intercourse therapist and founding father of the spiritual on-line platform ConneXions<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, oh, Jodi, I don\u2019t like her, but maybe this is one good thing that\u2019s come from it, is my (mom\u2019s) not yelling, she\u2019s not hitting us anymore,\u201d Shari mentioned. \u201cBut it did become more psychological<\/a>. And in a way, that was more damaging to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shari mentioned issues took a flip for the more severe when, in 2022, her dad and mom break up up and Hildebrandt moved into the household house, describing it as \u201cweird vibes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s normal at all that a therapist would move into her client\u2019s home,\u201d she instructed GMA<\/em>. \u201cI was moving out to college, I hadn\u2019t even left the house yet, and she is in my room and in my bed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shari mentioned that her mom was additionally \u201csecretive\u201d about her relationship with Hildebrandt and whereas she \u201cnever saw anything specific\u201d to point a romance between the pair, she writes within the memoir that she witnessed encounters and messages between them that instructed their relationship \u201chad spilled over into the physical.\u201d<\/p>\n
